I've joined the club
I wasn't sure how I felt about these shoes when they first hit the market. I knew I despised the obnoxious bright orange color and wasn't sure about the attractiveness of any of the other styles/colors. But I heard they were very comfortable and knew they fit in completely with the northwest lifestyle, so I figured they weren't going away soon. And then I saw the shoe in kids sizes, and found that really adorable. But I still wasn't sure if I would ever join in myself.
That is, until this pregnancy. And suddenly breathable, causal, stretchy shoes sounded really appealing. And I knew I could get away with the "Mary Jane" style at work.
So thanks to a timely holiday (yea for my first Mother's Day) and a thoughtful husband (armed with a 20% off coupon to REI) I've joined the crocs club. I gotta say, people were right, these sure are great.
But I promise there won't be any bright orange ones in my future.
These great Teva's were also in my mother's day package (GREAT color choice babe). Unfortunately, the otherwise incredibly comfy straps won't fit over my swollen feet. So these will get tucked away and hopefully sometime this summer I'll be able to slip them on.

That's too funny Deanna. I'm just like you with the crocs but last night I found the same one's you got online. I've been seriously considering getting them (and in black too!). Are they really that great? Oh, love the TEVA's too- awesome style.

I guess great minds think alike because I have been struggling with the decision whether or not to get a pair of these! I really want to buy a pair of plain black Teva flip flops but these Crocs are so cute. I want to get the little charms you can put in them too.
The only difference is that I would buy them in all the crazy colors!

Michelle: Teva flippies are the BEST! Sooo comfy if that's the way you choose to go. Did you see the croc charms (called Jibitz) lady on Oprah. It's an amazing story of one mom's idea that has become a huge money maker.
Deb: Very comfy and they don't make your feet stink. I'm still not convinced they go with as many outfits as do flippies.
