Maybe I'll get caught up one of these days...maybe...
We had a family photoshoot with the awesome Jeniffer Bayard. The girls love her and I adore her work. We had a nice morning out at Port Gamble, too bad baby L wasn't feeling to well so we didn't get any smiles out of her. But man, Jeniffer can make us look good, grumpy baby and all!
Darin and his helper doing some front yard landscaping.
Don't you just love how sweet those cheeks are after nap? Me too.
This sweet girl had a touch of the stomach flu today. She wanted a little bed on the floor to watch a movie, but when I checked on her she was fast asleep. Bestill my mama heart.
Backyard painting this afternoon. Landscapes anyone?
My baby had her first day of Kindergarten.
Darin was so proud of his Obama sticker finally arriving, that he had to instagram this shot. (cell pic)
A last afternoon attempt at swimming before summer faded. Unfortunately I forgot that this particular beach gets afternoon shade and is pretty darn chilly. Darin and the girls didn't last at swimming too long before we did a swing and headed home for dinner.
Sunday football holding a cute baby. Life is good! (cell pic)
My kindergartner rides the bus to school three days a week.
It's September. And look what she's wearing. I love Western Washington in September!
Daisy is taking a ballet class as her extra curricular this year. I snuck a picture of her first day. (cell pic)
She looks so tiny in this giant high chair, but is ready for solid food.
She was cracking up looking at herself in the baby mirror.
Those are her self-soothing fingers. Isn't she the sweetest?
And one more picture of baby-girl! She loves to swing.
Darin had a chance to take a group of kids he works with to a Mariners game. (cell pic)
I love finding little things like this around my house. Pluto looks like he's trying to jump ship!
The girls love to play doctor with their stuffed animals, so I decided we needed to whip up a few bandages. This was an easy project and my girls were thrilled.
Doing her trash chore in her princess dress.
Daisy's school had their open house tonight and she couldn't wait to show us the reading pit in the library. I think this is one pretty cool space. (cell pic)
I ran another 5K and had an awesome cheering section.
Darin and I have started teaching preschool Sunday School once-a-month at the 5pm service. It is exhausting but our girls love having us as teachers.
Busting out the johnny-jumpup for our jumping girl.
No plans for the day so when we got up I asked the girls what they wanted to do. "Play Kitsap" (a fun indoor playground) was their answer and I was happy to say "OK" thanks to a groupon I had. (cell pic)
Dani wanted to make popsicles but we didn't have too many ingredients. Turns out nutella and milk whipped together and frozen makes an awesome fudgesicle. And it turns out our girl can make quite the mess while eating one!
This girl is getting more roly-poly by the day and is finding more places to get stuck too.
Daisy's school PTA sells candy for 25 cents on Friday. Generous Daisy dug out 50 cents and brought her sister home a treat as well.
Can you spot the little one hiding from the scary part in the movie?
Family BBQ time. What a perfectly lovely day.
Wow, three blogs in three days! I'm impressed. Keep it up and you'll be caught up soon. Love ya!
