snow day!

On December 19th we woke up to snow! And no school!

Darin stayed home for the morning, and some friends walked over from their house, so while the baby was napping us ladies stayed warm and Darin took all the kids outside to play.

Gearing up...

I stood on the porch to take a couple of pictures.

Then it was off to prep the cookies and hot chocolate for when the crew returned. 

By mid-afternoon the snow was pretty wet, so Darin headed to the office and we some indoor fun. Our advent activity for the day was making snowman pancakes for dinner, so we were all eager for Papa's return.

What a perfect December day.
