Baby girl got pretty darn good at rolling to get wherever she wanted to go. Put her head down and go and go and go.
And she was up on all fours, rocking and rocking. But no crawling yet. (I was begging her to wait until after Christmas and she delivered, finally crawling in mid-January.)
One day we were hanging out in the girls' room and I looked down to see her stuck between the closet door and the dresser. I have no idea how she got there, but she couldn't get out by rollling, and had no idea how to go forward yet.
So I got my camera and took a picture.
And, surprisingly (this baby is definitely NOT known as easy-going) she was in a pretty good mood about this predicament, so I took a video too.
And since she still didn't seem to perturbed, I headed to the bathroom to get myself ready for the day. I wanted to see if she could get herself unstuck so I periodically checked on her. She worked at it for a good 20 minutes before finally becoming fussy. So even though Christmas was over and I was ready for her to start crawling, I rescued her.
After all...20 minutes has gotta be a non-fussy record for this girl.
Too cute!!
