giant swing

We are all super duper excited about a new element here at camp. It got installed this week and the staff had a test run yesterday so that Darin could make the big announcement (or "Giant" announcement) on the Camp Indianola blog today. I happen to think he did a great job on this video.

The camp kids got a chance to try the swing out yesterday too. Here's one adorable Dani all ready for her turn.

Up she goes. This swing is total challenge by choice and participants can decide how high they want to go. Dani did not go as high as the video, but still had a great time.

Up, up, up. When she was as high as she wanted to go, she told the team to stop and then all she had to do was pull a string to release herself and off she went.

Swinging!

Daisy and her mama declined this time around to give it a try. Yep, we're the scaredy-cats of the family.

I think this Giant Swing is going to be an amazing addition to camp and can't wait to hear all the excited screams this summer ringing through the woods.
